Common Touch Craft Unit is a homegrown ceramic studio based in Singapore, set up by ceramic artists Fyon Cheong and Zestro Leow. Through their work at Common Touch, they seek to bring people together through the craft of ceramics, as well as raise the profile of the local ceramic art scene.
Both Fyon and Zestro are emerging talents of the local ceramic art scene. They have each been selected for the Visual Art Development Association’s UNTAPPED programme, supported by Chan+Hori Contemporary. Zestro is also an Affordable Art Fair Young Talent Programme Finalist (2019). Fyon and Zestro were both educated at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and between the two of them, they have exhibited in Singapore, Hong Kong, New Delhi, and Taiwan.
